Glen – 78

This dram seemed to change in my glass. At first it was a little harsh but mellowed nicely after the first few sips. It has a heavy port wine nose and has some fire on the palate and finish. The dram is a little rough and hot but in a good way. It opens up well with water and grows on you like a comfortable old coat. Let this one sit in your glass for a minute or two after adding a touch of water.

Nose: Straightforward, port wine, some chocolate and over ripe fruit
Body: Chewy
Finish: Some bite, lingering and dry, unique

A big beefy malt.
