Who says a good single malt needs to cost you an arm and a leg. The honey notes with peat aroma fill your nose as the fruity medium body fills your mouth. The finish could last a little longer, but who's complaining.

A very good dram neat and an excellent value that can be found under twenty dollars.

Nose: Light, delicate, spicy, light smoke
Body: Gentle, fruity
Finish: Short, malty, fruity

An inexpensive winner.

I love Glen Garioch due to the smoky, peated character of their malts. This one is a big smoky Highland that kept pulling me back to the glass. My co-taster and I had to stop ourselves from drinking too much of the bottle. The nose had some sweetness to balance the smoke and peat, but maybe not enough.

Nose: Malty, smoky peat, vanilla, big
Body: Chewy & big
Finish: Dry, big smoke, peat, maple syrup & vanilla, smooth

Very appealing and a good smoky Highland but a bit one dimensional.
