Glen – 87

Glen Isla is no longer produced and has become incredibly rare. We were fortunate enough to try this Signatory bottling at a recent event and it was well worth the train ride into the City. The nose was fresh, clean and complex with notes of vanilla, caramel, heather. The body was light and the dram had a nice long sweet smoky finish. A very different whisky.

Nose: Complex, vanilla, caramel, heather, fresh, clean
Body: Light but had some legs
Finish: Long, fruity, sweet smoke
