This whisky surprised
me. Ardmore to me is one of those hidden
gems with loads of floral, honey
and delicate smoke overtones. So, when I
first saw the release of the 30 year
old, I was a little nervous about the
spirit in the cask for that long of a
time. "well Simply Amazing!!!"
Honey bursts from the nose with
chocolate, orange overtones with a deep
richness. It was surprising the smoke
still lingers in the spirit. The finish
is a bit dry with a hint of smoke and
toffee. A beautiful dram that gets
better with each sip
