Glanfarclas 105 Cask Strength

One of Speysides greatest distilleries that’s just starting to be discovered in the US. Glenfarclas is independent distillery that’s been owned by the same family since 1860. John Grant paid £511.19s.0d for the distillery which is now run by his Great Great Grand Son John L.S. Grant.  Glenfarclas is a favorite with connoisseurs and collectors and produces big after dinner type malts. The distillery operates 6 stills which are the largest in Speyside and draws its water supply from the Ben Rinnes. Glenfarclas welcomes guests and has had a visitor center since 1973. Glenfarclas was recently named Distiller of the year at the Icons of Whisky Dinner in 2006. If you haven’t yet discovered Glenfarclas buy a bottle as soon as you can (then send us a thank you notel). The seventeen year old expression can’t be topped for its complexity and price.
